Lakewood has small spaces and the bath houses could use some updating, they felt more like public beach bathrooms than a campground resort bathroom. But they have great amenities like large outdoor pool with tube slide and lazy river, heated indoor pool with hot tub, arcade, coffee shop small quick grab food shop and store. They also have food trucks. Only the fish fry food truck was open when we were there but the food was good. Campground is also close to everything. We were there during the off season so not everything was in full swing but our experience was overall very nice. You can’t beat the view (well if you get a nice spot like we did, which during the peak season will be difficult), the location is really close to most everything you want to do without being on the strip, and the beach.
